Chinkara Breeding Centre

                C.B.C. Kairu is situated on Bhiwani-Behal Road at Kairu, Distt. Bhiwani. C.B.C. Kairu has been started as a deer park in the year 1985, with in a patch of natural mixed forest, initially 10 chinkaras from natural habitat. Animal rescued from different places of Haryana were also kept in C.B.C. Kairu. It has not been recognized as C.B.C./Mini Zoo (Small category) by Central Zoo Authority, Govt. of India. The process of recognition is being done as per guidelines of C.Z.A. New Delhi.

              C.B.C. Kairu is 1 Km. away from Kairu Bus Stand and 30 Km. away from Bhiwani Railway Station. The Breeding Centre is well connected by road with Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur and other important cities. There is a good network of approach roads all along the periphery of the Breeding Centre. Nearest Airport is Delhi which is 150 Km. away from the Breeding Centre. Nearby important Zoos are Mini Zoo Bhiwani, Mini Zoo Rohtak, N.Z.P. Delhi, M.C. Zoological Park Chhatbir & Jaipur Zoo.

               C.B.C. Kairu is established with a view to achieving Conservation, education and awareness generation among general people and developed a healthy relationship between animals and human being. C.B.C. Kairu lies between 28° 40’N latitude and 75° 56’E longitude. The breeding centre has all facilities for visitors and animals/birds in its captivity.


The total area of the centre is 58 acre, 6 kanal & 2 marla which has following animals in it:-
